The neck, body and bell are in good condition. The saxophone was full adjusted, regulated, disinfected and oiled. I personally replaced the original lower stack and bell pads this month. Upper stack pads in good condition with 100 hours of playing time on them. Its essentially an Italian Mark VI copy design for the advancing student or as a reliable back up horn. This is a good instrument with solid intonation and tone. The tone of the horn is middle to dark European sound as its a high copper content horn. The engravings on the bow and bell are in good condition. The Nickle plated keys are tarnished as expected for a 50+ year old horn. Lacquer is 85%, with speckles, pits and minor scratches throughout the horn. Its original lacquer with Nickle plated keys. So I rebuilt it and now its ready to go to a new home. (Is that possible?.) This alto has been sitting in the closet for 40 years and it deserves to be played. I hate to sell this unique alto but I have too many horns.
